How much is shipping?

We ship via USPS priority mail and charge a flat shipping rate of $7 for all orders.

What is your return policy?

Yarn in its original condition (with label and original skein/hank) can be returned within 30 days of purchase for full store credit, or the purchase price returned minus a 10% restocking fee. There are no returns for sale/discount items, wound yarn, special orders, patterns, books, needles, or notions. Contact us at with any questions.

How quickly will I receive my order?

The Knitting Nook is a small shop but every effort will be made to ship in stock items within 24 hours of receiving your order. We ship via USPS Priority Mail, which has a domestic delivery ETA of 2-3 days. You will be notified via email if there is an unexpected delay, and for special orders.

I don't have a ball winder. Can you wind my purchase?

We would be happy to wind your fiber purchase at no charge, so it is ready for use when your shipment arrives! Request this service in the comments section of your order. Wound yarn is not returnable.

We try to fill all yarn orders with a uniform dye lot. If we don't have the quantity you ordered in a single dye lot, we will contact you to see what you would like to do. If it is a regularly stocked yarn, we can usually back order the yarn and fill your order when new stock arrives so that the quantity you ordered can be filled from one dye lot. If the yarn is a closeout, or is dyed in small batches, this isn't always possible.

If you are looking for a specific dye lot, please call the store (918-272-6665) to check the availability. 

I am only ordering a pattern. Can I receive it electronically?

In-house patterns will be e-mailed in PDF format at the completion of your order. A printed copy can be mailed at an additional fee.

Can I use my Knitting Nook Gift Certificate online?

Gift cards purchased in the online store can be used online or in the Owasso store. Gift certificates purchased in the Owasso store currently cannot be used online.

I do not live in the United States. Can I still order from you?

We are not currently accepting international orders. Check back with us, as this may change!

Can I reserve a class online? What if I can't attend?

Classes can be purchased in the online store. If you cannot attend after reserving your place, the purchase price is not refundable, but can be used to reserve another class at a later date. Call for more information.
